Portfolio
This is the concept behind the portfolio you’re looking at. I wanted a main theme I could truly identify with, something that shows a part of who I am and not just what I can do.
I started by looking for inspiration, but nothing fit. Everything I found felt like someone else’s identity. I needed a theme that was mine, and that could carry a whole portfolio without feeling forced.
Then I thought of the onion. My first reaction was that it was too weird and too niche, and that nobody would understand it. But that was exactly why I had to use it. It’s become part of who I am and how I express myself, and a portfolio that hides that would be a less honest one. It also fits how I work: adaptable, many layers, useful in lots of situations.
Color palette
Two colours: yellow and purple. They’re complementary, so they contrast strongly and make each other stand out. They’re also the colours usually associated with onions (yellow and purple varieties), so the palette is a quiet nod to the theme without drawing an onion on every page.

Fonts
Notable - Titles
Kalnia - Body
Lancelot - Captions or descriptions
A font with personality that stands out and grabs attention for the tittle. A serif, chosen for readability for the body. And a lighter font, so secondary information stays visible without competing with the rest.

Card deck illustration
A fully custom deck of playing cards with new suits, made as a gift. The theme is the animal realm, and I designed everything myself: the symbol and frame for each suit, and the composition of the number cards.
I started from the theme and let it replace the traditional suits. Each suit needed its own symbol and its own frame, so players can tell them apart immediately, while the whole deck still feels like one family. Since it was a gift, I also designed it with the person in mind, so the theme and the details would feel chosen for them and not generic.
Patterns
A personal project where I designed a collection of seamless patterns and stamps, made to be printed on items and clothes. I developed two themes and designed at least two patterns for each.
